The luxuryAAA-5 Diamond and Rainforest Certified Fairmont Mayakoba Riviera Maya Resort is located in a private gate resort community, with 240 acres of tropical forest intersected by crystal clear waterways and surrounded by pristine Caribbean shoreline.

The 401 guestrooms (including 34 suites) lie nestled in a tropical forest surrounded by calm, ever-present waters of lush lagoons, while some private suites stretch out to a pristine white beach.

The resort has restaurants, 27,710 square feet of indoor function space, 20,396 square feet of outdoor event lawns, Willow Stream Spa, water sports and the PGA El Camaleón golf course designed by Greg Norman.

"In Fairmont Mayakoba the presence of nature is majestic, the property is located within it, living it, living with its inhabitants and merging with it.

Thus, the earth tones of the architecture, coral, stone and wood, with their orthogonal shapes, are combined with the blue and green tones of the estuaries and channels that surround the property.

Arquitectura de Interiores created a concept for the Ballroom pattern applying the principles of Biophilic design, where nature is brought to a higher level of relevance, placing it, following this trend, within the same space.

The Intercorp´s team developed a pattern inspired by the channels and estuaries, the environment, the depth, masterfully achieved by the skill of the Intercorp´s team, giving the opportunity to have different shades of green, ranging from emerald green to dark green, passing through slight touches of mint, turquoise blue contrasting with tobacco coffee, the result is an intricate and whimsical design where it seems that the estuaries were brought into the livingroom, a pattern that can be perceived as if it were an image underwater, or from a boat, making nature continue to be the protagonist, with the important presence in our day"
